In August, we had the pleasure of summarizing the first half of the year. You can also find a roundup of the best projects on our blog. Now it’s time for the next ranking. With this in mind, facades are in the spotlight. See for yourself!
Wooden cladding
Projects involving wood often appear in the portfolios of our subcontractors. For a client from Belgium, the team focused this time on the execution of wooden cladding for a single-family home. The scope of work included insulation of the facade with PUR panels, double wood battens, and installation of a rainproof membrane. Furthermore, the team installed vertical wood cladding, window frame casing, and finished the plinth at the base of the cladding.
Facade work on a public building
This project in the Wallonia region included several key stages. The task of our subcontractors was not only to install wooden cladding but also to install facade panels. Prior to this, the team worked on insulating the building with PIR boards, installing a rainproof membrane, and, of course, preparing the substructure. Additionally, an aluminum windowsill was installed, along with an EPDM base.
Artificial slate roof
Our portfolio wouldn’t be complete without examples of roofing work. Below, you can see photos of the installation of an artificial slate roof on a residential building and garage. The specialists first removed the old roofing, replaced the decking, and reinforced the truss. In addition to PIR board insulation, they worked on the structure and cladding of the dormers, as well as installing gutters and downpipes. Thanks to KomFort subcontractors, the building was given a new artificial slate roof with skylights.
Wooden facade
A client commissioned our subcontractor team for work on another single-family home in Belgium. The scope of work included, among other things, insulation of the building with PUR foam and the installation of a rainproof membrane. Additionally, the substructure was prepared, which enabled the final installation of the wooden cladding. For a complete aesthetic effect, the team also finished the plinth using Trespa panels.
Facade renovation with Trespa panels
We conclude our portfolio with a project on a residential building in Belgian Wallonia. In this case, a 4-person team carried out the facade renovation. The work began with the installation of the substructure, followed by the installation of a rainproof membrane. Finally, the team installed the HPL Trespa panels and completed the finishing work.
